Phil & Derek’s has been serving Houston great music and great food since 2008. Inconspicuously located in bustling Midtown Houston, sits Phil & Derek’s Restaurant and Jazz Bar. Phil & Derek’s is a laid-back atmosphere where the ambiance is reminiscent of the comfort of your own living room, coupled with the flare and glitz from our nightly Cabaret style entertainment.
Our guests can sit back and enjoy popular Jazz and R&B music, as we deliver piping hot, delicious entrees to the table. We offer weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Our Sunday Brunch was voted, Best Morning after Brunch, for three consecutive years. Our brunches offer a variety of southern comfort favorites along with our mimosa buckets and a live DJ that plays music from 12pm-4pm.
We offer free Wi-Fi and plugs for tablets and cell phones under both bar tops as well as throughout the dining room and lounge. We are equipped with two indoor dining areas, a patio and a deck that is ideal for birthday, engagement/wedding dinner or parties, baby showers, business meetings, receptions, and more. Customers may choose from any of the many dishes we have to offer on the menu, such as, our ever so popular, If instant gratification is what you want, try our extensive lunch buffet. It’s full of all your favorites and selections change daily. While you’re at it, gobble a big spoonful of Peach Cobbler. Buttons will pop once you indulge in our tasty dish of White Donut Bread as it slowly melts in your mouth.
